These terms govern use of NEED A LAWYER?, operated by AGB Marketing. Effective September 19, 2026.
Operator and purpose
AGB Marketing operates this marketing service to receive and review inquiries related to legal matters. AGB is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice and does not represent users. Lex is a digital character, not an attorney or an actual client testimonial.
How a request works
By submitting the form, you ask AGB to review the information and permit AGB to contact you. The initial submission does not authorize delivery of your information to a law firm. If AGB identifies a possible option, it will name the firm that would receive the information and request separate permission.
No attorney–client relationship
Using the site or speaking with AGB does not create an attorney–client relationship, provide legal advice or make information confidential or privileged. A professional relationship can arise only through a direct agreement with an attorney or firm that accepts the matter.
No guarantee
Categories and examples are informational. AGB does not determine a matter’s merits or value and does not guarantee contact, acceptance, representation or outcome.
Deadlines and emergencies
The site does not file documents, monitor deadlines or handle emergencies. Do not rely on the form to protect a deadline. Contact an attorney directly if the matter is urgent. For an immediate emergency, call 911.
Permitted use
You must be at least 18, provide information you believe is accurate and be authorized to submit it. Do not submit confidential or third-party information, impersonate others, interfere with the site or use it for unlawful purposes.
Costs and attorney agreements
AGB does not charge users to submit a request. Any fee, cost or representation term is agreed directly with the law firm and is not part of these terms. AGB may receive commercial compensation from law firms for marketing or validation services.
Availability and changes
We may modify, suspend or update the site and these terms. The current version will show its effective date. These terms do not remove rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
